Happiness and Gratitude – September 4th, 2015
There is a lot to be grateful for … right now … being grateful just to be where we are at this moment … be grateful for the place you are born in, the place where you live in, the bed you are sleeping in … there are many reasons to count your blessings every day … not just because it makes you happy (as Brother David explains in this wonderful TED Talk video), but also to set boundaries to your ego … ego and gratitude can not exist together at the same time … how many posts did I read this week full of ego, full of fear, full of anger … they only hurt themselves (and the loved ones around them) … making themselves more angry, more fearful … and less happy, less content … is it really so hard to believe that sharing can make you rich? … so much richer than keeping all to yourself, full of fear of loosing it … is it really so hard to believe that it is possible to live with an open heart (and an open mind)? … even if it has been hurt before … don’t stop trying … please … for your own sake … and for everybody around us … we call ourselves ‘human’ … so let’s live humanity … just for today … just for today … have a wonderful weekend … Love to you all, Sandra …

Mindfulness Meditation and Happiness – August 31st, 2015
Mindfulness Meditation is about catching the moment … this moment … as it is … feel it … and embrace it … just as it is.
When we concentrate on our breath or on a certain part of our body in our Meditation, we feel it exactly as it is, in this very moment. We don’t change it, we feel it.
Accepting the now as it is, is also the first step to happiness. Accepting it as it is makes you as well more aware of whether you will be able to change it or not.
If you can change it – change it.
If you can’t – you might as well accept it, as it is. And use your energy and attention on something positive or something you actually can change.
So don’t hold onto and waste your energy on something that you can’t change, but on something that makes you happy and progress as a person.
Accepting the moment as it is, is the first step to happiness!!!
Try it, or as Joda says ‘Do, or do not. There is no try’ … so just do it.

quite a lot of the chats I had this week were about disengaging … disengaging from the latest news, from toxic people, bad habbits … everything that only costs energy but not nourishes you … sometimes because you can’t change it anyway and sometimes to protect yourself … but that does not mean that you have to disconnect yourself … en contraire … the more you disengage from bad habits, toxic sorroundings etc, the more you feel your connection to the actual world around you … you more and more connect to the beauty around you … you more and more appreciate the wonderful and loving people around you … the more you disengage from stuff you can’t change and only brings you charges, the more you connect to your inner self and the world around you that actually matters, touches you … we all ARE connected … but it is on you to choose with what or whom you want to share your energy, your love, your life … choose wisely … I for my self choose best in silence … feel the connection … and listen to the answers … have a wonderful weekend and may you find heaps of good answers … Namaste and Arohanui, Sandra

Hello everybody, I hope you all had a phantastic Christmas … now it is time to look back and let the year pass by … and to look forward to the next one … no, I am not talking about new years resolution or similar … I am talking about the flow … the flow of life … what in the last year was easy to achieve and what was harder? … what of the things you experienced last year do you want to take into the next year with you and what not? … look back and feel into it … those things which felt easy, those happened in the flow … those who felt like obstacles, were possibly lessons … so ask yourself what to take with you? … have you learned your lessons? … then leave that stuff behind and move on … if you haven’t learned your lesson yet, you might have to deal with similar stuff next year … it is worth pondering … moving forward is brave … one step at a time … πŸ˜‰ … take time … if not now … when then … the twelfe days until epiphany (6.Jan) are meant to think back and look forward … use the energy that is around you for that … use the energy inside of you … πŸ˜‰ … and breathe … and smile … and love … πŸ˜‰Β  … I wish you a happy and healthy new year … may all your wishes come true and you find the right way … πŸ˜‰ … Namaste, Sandra

So here is a thought for Christmas … if you are still short of a few presents … how about giving away time … your time … and your attention … instead of rushing around to find ‘some thing’ and you are not sure if this ‘something’ will suit them … maybe what they really want is you spending time with them … (and on a different note, if they do not, why buy them a present anyway) … some people seem to not have any time at all and some people actually have not that much time left … for some of them time is really precious, more than a box of chocolate … unless they can share if with a loved one … time, love, compassion, attention … this is what some of us can spare and all of us would like to have … so why not make the start and just do it … maybe find the time to just sit next to each other and look at the sky, the sea or your favourite pet … sometimes you don’t actually need to say anything … just be there … hold a hand … be … be a human being … not a human rushing around … finding excuses … wouldn’t that be nice? … so, if you think that would be nice for you … maybe it also would be nice for others … if there is one thing I have learned the last year, than it is that sometimes just being there is enough … so many people out there suffer in silence and don’t want to talk about it … just be … be there … they don’t want your piece of advice … there is probably nothing in it they haven’t heard before … just be there … be a human being … a big thank you to all you wonderful people I was allowed to get to know this year and be a part of your life, meditating with you, chatting, sharing, laughing … looking forward to the next year with you … some great news coming up soon and minimum one new venue … feeling really blessed and wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year … πŸ˜‰ … Arohanui and Namaste, Sandra
